Sometimes we have it and sometimes we don’t!
It is always easy to go to the gym when feeling motivated. Your energy level is high, your mind is focused, your goals are in sight.
It is SO EASY to hit the gym under those conditions.
BUT, the reality is that everyday isn’t like that.
Sometimes we are tired, didn’t eat enough, had a shit day at work, and frankly just DON’T FEEL LIKE IT.
That feeling isn’t special. Everyone has those days…even the fittest among us.
Those are the times that you need to just hunker down and get the job done, because at the end of it all. You know you feel better when you make it to the gym, you know you feel better when the weights begin to feel lighter, and you know you feel better when your clothing begins to fit better.
Here are some things that help me get rocking:
1.) I put on some jamming music in the car or even at home….
2.) Just take a scoop of pre-workout, that will get you moving lol….(not medical advice)
3.) or call a buddy… someone who is doing the things that you want to do. Don’t choose someone whose path is behind yours…forward motion only
Maybe you just need a hug or a swift kick in the butt to restart your gears.
